THE PSA PROJECT helps students connect with real issues:
- Engage students in an exercise that highlights the importance of sustainable transportation and walkable streets. GO GREEN!!
- Raise awareness in your community for safety and the benefits of walking.
- Use this as a Service Learning opportunity.
Please Note: The contest is not judged on how many students walk to you school, but what you do with the information.
Enter the Contest
- When you upload your Walking Numbers with a log-in you are automatically registered for the contest. The deadline is Wednesday, October 21st, at midnight.
- You will receive a confirmation email.
- The basic guidelines for the contest are as follows:
- All submissions must be in the form of a Public Service Announcement (PSA).
- These can be recorded with drawings/posters, photos, video, sound clips, etc.
- They should be targeted at the general public.
- They can be about anything that you learned from collecting data or the classroom activities with an emphasis on safety and just how many students use their feet to get around.
